From the M6 travelling between Penrith and Lancaster, exit at Junction 36 and follow signs for Kirkby Lonsdale A65. After approx. 200 yards, turn left signposted Crooklands, Endmoor and with the brown Caravan Symbol. After approx 1 mile turn left, it will be signposted Milnthorpe, Milton B6385. Go over the bridge and take the immediate left.
After 50 yards, If you are staying on the tent field, come through the entance on the righthand side, by the bungalow and staff will welcome you. After another 50 yards, if you are staying on the caravan site, come through the brown gates on your right hand side and you have access to touring pitches.
Little Acre is a family-run site suitable for those wanting peace and tranquility on their trip away. Just a couple of minutes from the M6 yet located in a calming rural setting, the site enjoys easy access.
Motorhomes and touring caravan pitches all offer electricity and water points.Tent pitches have access to running water and a limited number of free electric hook ups, along with superb views over the area.
Located adjacent to the Lancaster canal, with view of the swans and wildlife, it's perfect for those who arrive on site with dogs - with walks up and down the tow path for exercise. Kids also enjoy the canal and you can take a trip on the Water Witch canal boat for a few pounds every weekend for that extra relaxation.
