Follow directions from your location to the village of Great Longstone.
If you are coming from Bakewell look out for Moor road on your right as the road bends left out of the village.
If you are coming from Manchester look out for Moor road on your left as the road bends right into the village.
Once on moor road we are 300yds up on the left (there are signs). Follow this lane another 100yds until you reach the campsite entrance (first right).
Right in the heart of the Peak District National Park, Dale Farm Rural Campsite near Bakewell is a quiet countryside place for those who like quiet countryside camping.
Whether you are interested in walking, rambling, mountain biking, climbing, cycling, landscape photography or sightseeing and shopping, it is all right on our doorstep.
The Monsal Trail is less than a mile away from the site, eight and a half miles of traffic-free trail passing Bakewell on its route from Topley Pike to Darley Dale. It's great on foot or cycle and as it's the Peak District, many more bridleways and footpaths can be found nearby.
We have three traditional country pubs all within a mile of the farm. All with beer gardens and dog friendly.
Dale Farm Rural Campsite is on a working farm and has a loo block with washing-up area, and a small shop selling produce and award-winning baking from the farm.
We have pitches for tents, campervans, motorhomes, caravans and trailer tents. We also rent out bell tents for 2-4 people which are fully kitted out so you can camp in style whilst only having to bring minimal camping gear.
Group bookings are also possible by prior arrangement.
