Devon roads are notoriously small, but don't worry we are only 1 mile from an 'A' road. The first part of our lane is fine with passing places but the last 500 yards is by a narrow single track lane, hence why we have a unit size restriction. Please follow the recommended route via the A399. Do not use the lane that leads from the B3358 at Challacombe. Instead follow the B3358 to the A399.
Arrivals between 1:00pm and 6:00pm (late arrivals to confirm this when booking) and we ask that you vacate your pitch between 9:00am to 12:00am

Craig Faulkner 09/10/2018 4/5 The owners welcomed us at the gate and made us both feel very welcome. We had a quick tour of the Campsite and then they gave us detailed instructions on the local area.
There site, which is a breath of fresh air with a lovely typical Devon view, is basic (no showers) but wonderful with full recycling bins, a wonderful composting toilet and the cleanest Chemical Disposal Point I have ever used.
Amanda Starks 12/08/2018 5/5 Highly recommended. Eco friendly. Simple and beautiful. Great for dog walks during day and star gazing at night, very peaceful and lovey picturesque walks to the Black Venus pub. If you have a large vehicle make sure you read how to approach the campsite. We will be returning.
