The shepherd huts are situated near Lynton and Lynmouth with views across the bristol channel to Wales. The site is ideal for exploring Exmoor either by foot or by car, the south west coast path is a mear 12 minute walk and you can walk along there to the nearest pub the blue ball inn which is only 2 miles or down to Lynmouth which is an hour by foot or 9 minutes by car. There are plenty of lovely villages and beauty spots to explore nearby. Porlock village is only 8 miles and you pass lorna doone valley and culbone church, just past Porlock is the village of Selworthy which is famous for it beautiful thatched properties. Bredon village is 2 miles away, which has a couple of pubs and lovely river walks to watersmeet and lorna doone valley. From the site it is sometimes possible to see Exmoor red deer amongst all other wildlife.
