You will find us near to the village of Whitchurch Canonicorum in the Marshwood Vale. From the A35 in Morcombelake, turn into Ryall village and continue through heading for the village of Whitchurch Canonicorum. At the Five Bells pub, take the right turn into Bluntshay Lane and continue 500 yards along this road going past Hobby Farm (equestrian stables). The next turning on the right you will see Hobby Farm Holidays on the gate. Go through the gate a very short distance straight ahead and then turn right into the lakeside field with 2 Shepherds Huts.
Whatever pastime you're into, Hobby Farm in Marshwood Vale’s got you covered. Like a bit of walking? Set in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this site’s got that in spades. Want to go fishing? A pond in the grounds ensures you can have a go at reeling in a couple of edible creatures. Prefer relaxing? As an adults-only park with a low-key atmosphere, this pretty place is wondrously peaceful...
The site’s also a 10-minute drive to the famous fossil beach in Charmouth (for dinosaur bone hunting) and footpaths connecting to the coast from here mean you can roam on down through the green countryside in about an hour and a quarter. If Fido fancies a break you can bring him as well: dogs are welcome at Hobby Farm.
For beaches with a bit of bustle, West Bay and Lyme Regis’ restaurants, bars and boutiques are less than a 10-minute drive, and if guests are hankering after eats closer by a pub serving grub is about a five-minute walk up the lane. A supermarket’s less than a 15-minute drive for alfresco cooking on hol as barbecues are allowed back on base...
If legs still have a little life left in them, Stonebarrow Hill (a 10-minute drive) has 25 miles’ worth of trails around Golden Cap. Factor in a stop uphill for vistas of Lyme Bay over to Dartmoor, then keep going to Langdon Hill-Wood via Smugglers’ Trail. Or carry yourself off towards the cliffs for the old Thorncombe Beacon and views of Bridport and Chesil Beach, one of England’s longest shingle shorelines.

Paul Morton 15/08/2019 5/5 Wow, it was just the best holiday myself and my husband have ever had. So much so that we will no longer be going abroad. What a beautiful place to relax, un-wind and re-charge.
They are an absolutely lovely family that runs the site, facilities are kept to a very high standard, and they continually adding improvements.
We were only going to stay a couple of nights, in a tent, however, we ended up staying a whole week, in which we upgraded to one of their latest acquisitions, a shepherds hut. Which I might add was one of the best places I have ever slept in, again wonderful décor, clean and very well kempt.
We will definitely be back next year, thanks for best holiday ever Tia and Paul
