Isfield is located between Uckfield and Lewes, just off the main A26. From the south (Brighton area) follow the A27 to Lewes, then the A26 towards Tunbridge Wells. Isfield is about five miles from Lewes, accessed by a left turn immediately after "The Old Ship" which is a closed public house. From the north (Uckfield) follow the signs towards Lewes A26, and turn right at a crossroads about one mile after the "Little Horsted" roundabout at the northern end of the Uckfield by-pass.
A secluded 5-van site with power hook-up, water, and waste disposal located in a shaded spot at the top of a field behind The Laughing Fish pub in Isfield, and operated by a Community Benefit Society - "Isfield Community Enterprise (ICE) Ltd." which owns the field. The village is small but with a thriving farm shop, and the site is next door to a preserved railway "The Lavender Line" which is open to the public on Sundays throughout the year. There is a good daytime bus service which runs to Tunbridge Wells in the north and Brighton, via Lewes, in the south. There are many opportunities for walking in the area, and the beautiful Anchor Inn and Boating at Barcombe can be accessed by a riverside walk which takes about 45 minutes.
