From Mold take the A541 towards Denbigh. After passing through the village of Hendre, travel a little further until you reach a crossroads signed left to Cilcain and right to Rhes-y-cae. Turn left to Cilcain and follow the road for just under 1 mile. Before reaching the village you will see a brown viewpoint sign. Take a right turn here and follow the windy single track road until you reach a crossroads at the top with 2 no through road signs. Go straight on here and follow the road, pass a park bench and stay on the tarmac until you see a stone farmhouse with a grey/green gate. Just beyond the gate, drive a little way on the mountain track and you will see a small parking space on the left hand side.

peter wright 07/03/2023 5/5 This is a wonderful piece of Welsh heaven. James and Eileen have thought of everything in this comfortable, warm and luxurious retreat.
The attention to detail is amazing and they are the most perfect hosts.
I really have never slept better, nor woken to such fabulous views. it is the perfect location for walking the Clwydian Range or visiting the many castles and beaches of North Wales.
Very highly recommended.
