Stayed for a couple of nights in September, lovely little site with just the basics but that’s all we need. We didn’t use the shower block or toilet but there was one at each end of the field and they looked clean and tidy. Bins and toilet point at each end also with water points at points along the road. A lovely pub next door serving great meals, a child’s play barn across the road and some lovely canal side walks to be had. All in all a well placed campsite. The lady in charge wanted payment in cash which is useful to know in advance, unfortunately I didn’t know and had no cash. So the lovely lady donated the fees to my husband who was running in the Great North Run for McMillan cancer. I have paid up. I wanted to post a pic to prove it but I can’t seem to add a picture which is a shame. A massive thank you to her generosity xx
