From Loughborough take A6 North towards Kegworth, turn right onto A6006 signpost Melton. Follow for 2m turn left signpost West Leake (Trowell Ln). After 1m turn right signpost West Leake just before The Star public house. Site on right in 1.5m.

Midshires Barn Campsite is open all year round and offers hard standing fully serviced pitches with views over open rolling country side, surrounded by glorious varied walks and cycling routes. To add to the interest of our campsite we keep and breed alpacas for their wool, fresh eggs are available from our variety of free range chickens and within our 17 acre holding we have a livery yard with paddocks adjacent to the campsite. Situated within easy walking distance of the site, is the pretty village of East Leake. East Leake has a co-op supermarket, Restaurants, Coffee shops, takeaways (which deliver to site), pubs and a Leisure Center with swimming pool, badminton, Tennis, gym etc. There is also a regular bus service within easy walking distance into Nottingham for, shopping, theaters, concert hall, caves, castle and historical interests, Ice Skating and Bowling. Leicester for, shopping, Famous 700 years old Market, National Space Center, Museums. Market town of Loughborough (market days are Thursday and Saturday) Taylors bell foundry tours, Great Central Railway. Other nearby attractions include, Donnington Park Race Circuit and Museum, Everyman Racing at Prestwold Hall, Manor Animal Farm and Woodlands for all age groups, Rushcliffe Golf Course and Coarse and Fly Fishing at Lakeside Sporting.
