From the main A1031 coast road turn into North Cotes. Sea Lane is opposite the village Church and La Casa is approximately 1 mile down the lane on the right hand side. You need to start slowing down when you see the large farm building on the left hand side and the entrance to the site is on the right between two trees which have white rings painted on the trunks.PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT CONFUSE NORTH COTES WITH NORTH SOMERCOTES, WHICH IS SEVERAL MILES AWAY!
LA CASA IS AN ADULTS ONLY 5 VAN SITE SITUATED ON THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE COAST.THE SITE IS SURROUNDED BY ARABLE FARMLAND AND IS WITHIN EASY REACH OF THE LINCOLNSHIRE WOLDS, WHICH CAN BE SEEN IN THE DISTANCE. THE FORMER NORTH COTES R.A.F BASE IS CLOSEBY WHERE THERE IS A SMALL PRIVATE LIGHT AIRCRAFT CLUB AND A GUN CLUB.
LA CASA WELCOMES WELL BEHAVED DOGS FREE OF CHARGE (NO LIMIT ON NUMBERS). THERE ARE PLENTY OF "OFF LEAD" WALKS CLOSE BY INCLUDING MILES OF COASTLINE. THE LOCAL TETNEY MARSHES RSPB RESERVE CAN BE ACCESSED FROM THE SEA BANK, WHERE THOUSANDS OF VISITING BIRDS CAN BE SEEN THROUGHOUT THE YEAR INCLUDING MANY RARE SPECIES.
LA CASA IS OWNED BY CLIVE & JANET HUDSON WHO HAVE LIVED IN SEA LANE SINCE 1977. THEY ARE KEEN CARAVANNERS AND HAVE DEVELOPED THEIR CERTIFIED SITE, WHICH WAS OPENED IN APRIL 2010 SO THAT OTHERS MAY VISIT AND ENJOY THE MANY BENEFITS OF THE LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTRYSIDE.
LA CASA IS SET IN OVER ONE ACRE OF GARDEN, MORE THAN HALF OF WHICH HAS BEEN UTILISED FOR THE CARAVAN AREA WITH ELECTRIC HOOK-UPS. ALTHOUGH IDEAL FOR A RELAXING HOLIDAY, THERE ARE MANY ATTRACTIONS WITHIN EASY REACH INCLUDING THE POPULAR MAIN SEASIDE RESORTS OF CLEETHORPES, MABLETHORPE, SUTTON-ON-SEA AND SKEGNESS. THE FISHING PORT OF GRIMSBY IS ONLY 20 MINUTES AWAY BY CAR WHERE THERE ARE EXCELLENT RETAIL FACILITIES AND THE HISTORIC MARKET TOWN OF LOUTH IS ALSO WITHIN 20 MINUTES DRIVE.
