At Strathmore Caravan Park we offer a warm welcome to all those travelling in Campervans, Caravans, Motor Homes and any aspiring Shepherds. Most of our visitors enjoy the friendly, relaxed feel of the park with our unique touches thrown in.
If you love nothing more than sitting around an open fire gazing at the stars, sharing a story with a fellow traveller and having a drink, our fire pit area is perfect for you and don't worry if the weather isn't being kind put your feet up in our Chatterbox Folly with an indoor fire pit, twinkly lights and marshmallows to toast. Take a seat in our Dingly Dell where people have said if you're ever going to see a fairy it'd be here and listen to the bird song or for those still full of beans after a day exploring make use of our selection of games from skittles to skipping ropes.
Although our facilities aren't state of the art we along with many others love them, with our 1940's inspired 'privy' eco toilet and our 'scrub a dub dub' shower with a constant supply of hot water, from which you can even watch the clouds pass by as you wash.
For all those "aspiring Shepherd's" our Shepherd Huts Romney and Merino offer all the modern cons to stop you from ever wanting to leave, from moonlit dips in the Hot Tub, BBQ's as the sun sets and tucking into a breakfast basket delivered to your doorstep.
Here at Strathmore we are keen to make everyone's stay as enjoyable as possible and put every effort into keeping our park clean and well maintained. And to quote a past visitor "you have to care to get it so right"
