Get away from it all to our area of outstanding natural beauty, Camp on one of just 5 grass camping pitches Tents, Caravans & Campervans all welcome (but have no chemical disposal Point as off grid and have compositing loos) or stay in one of our two fully furnished 6m bell tents. They are sited separately in their own individual secluded, peaceful little fields offering private bathroom and kitchen facilities, privacy, peace and quiet, on our working farm at Knighton-On-Teme.
There is a parking located near but not next to the Bell tents. Camping we ask that unless your vehicle forms part of your accommodation that after you have set up you park just inside the field because of children (or adults) playing
The parking leads over a small bridge between the trees to the first of our tents called Evelyn, this field is more secluded with a woodland feel. Just a short walk between the hedge row and our living wall (created to provide privacy to visitors staying in Evelyn) is the second tent called Lillian.
The shepherds hut provides bathroom and pot wash facilities in the grass camping field.
The converted vintage Rice horse trailers provides a quirky yet luxury composting toilet, basin and shower. for the Bell tents, Walk ways have been cut into the meadow grass whilst maintaining a natural habitat for the wildlife. Each tent is furnished with a comfortable double bed and for children camp beds can be provided, you will need to bring the kids sleeping bags. the bed linen is provided for the double beds. To keep warm on those chilly nights, hot water bottles are available.
The kitchen pods at each tent contain a gas double burner, gas fridge, cutlery, cooking utensils, and dining sets, along with China teapots, milk jugs, sugar bowls, cups and saucers. BBQs are also provided.
The Lillian field has a more open aspect, looking up towards the farm and Clee Hill, with established hedges to 3 sides the long side is fenced.
Nestled in view of the Clee Hill, on the edge of the Teme Valley, this is a peaceful and tranquil location; the scenery and wildlife are diverse and beautiful. The grass verge to the lane is a designated wild flower area, and the woods and pool adjacent are home to a diverse wildlife population. This is a place where you can gaze at the stars, get away from it all and spot the local wildlife. There are free range sheep, cattle, pigs, hens, guinea fowl, horses and children. But please do not worry, our fields are well fenced and will keep unwanted visitors out!
