Daresgate Caravan site is situated at the edge of Newbourne village in a quiet spot ideal for bird watchers or walkers.
The site has electrical hook-ups, water, waste disposal and there is space for awnings. We welcome well-behaved dogs and children! The village has a thriving pub, a chidren’s playground, a small farm shop selling vegetables, and Newbourne Springs nature reserve. There are buses which go to the nearest towns of Felixstowe, Woodbridge or Ipswich. The seaside at Felixstowe is a ten minute drive, and the market town of Woodbridge is 15 minutes by car.
There is a Marks and Spencer’s and Tesco store a ten minute drive away at Martlesham.
Local attractions include the Sutton Hoo burial ground, river trips on the River Deben, golf courses at Waldringfield and Woodbridge, and not forgetting the amusements by the seaside at Felixstowe!
