Beautiful natural setting either in the woodland or on the field. Great facilities and very friendly owners. Unwind at our beautiful little Suffolk countryside campsite - exclusively for grownups. The perfect place for a digital detox!

There are just twenty pitches on this peaceful and relaxing campsite on the edge of a Suffolk village. Spend the evening round your campfire, light the barbecue and enjoy the tranquil surroundings - woodland and meadow pitches with 5* toilet and shower facilities. Awake to the sound of birdsong and enjoy walking or cycling in the Suffolk countryside.

There are fire pits and barbecues for you to borrow, and picnic tables scattered around the site. If the weather is not so good you can shelter in the Elephant Shed, with tables and a fire - here you will also find the fridge and freezer for campers’ use.

There are no electric hook-ups - it’s back to nature with the torch and the campfire (and mod cons)! The campsite is adult only and dog friendly; we have quiet time after 10pm and we do not take parties of more than four people - so you can be assured of a calm and restful break. You will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed - and planning your next visit!

Things to do

There are some lovely walks in the area, including the Newbourne Springs Nature Reserve. We have a number of leaflets detailing walks and places to visit which you will find in the Information Hut on the site. Felixstowe is close by with beaches, the docks, Landguard Fort and the fisherman’s huts, as is the lovely little market town of Woodbridge and a walk along the River Deben. Of course there are some great pubs nearby, including The Fox in the village for a pint or a meal!

A little further afield you will find the RSPB reserve at Minsmere, and the lovely Suffolk coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southward. There really is something for everyone.
